How the wireless patient call system works

Step 1: Place the Nurse Station Console Receiver on nurse table or nurse room or even hang it on the wall

Step 2: Connect to the unit to the adapter

Step 3: Distribute the remote controllers to different rooms, patient beds, service rooms etc.

Now, just by pressing the CALL button from a remote controller, the respective number gets displayed on the receiver console along with voice annunciation.

 

Components of the Wireless Nurse Call System

• Nurse Station Console Receiver: 1 nos. [model: FBXCSL02A]
• Remote controller [model: FBX521] (range of communication 30-40 meters)

 

• Optional: Repeater units (to increase range of communication, 30-40 meters)
• Optional: Long range repeater unit (to enhance range of communication, even further 60-80 meters)
• Optional: Wall mount patient calling unit
• Optional: Door indicator unit

A 2-digit console receiver can catch signals from 100 remotes (count 00, 01, 02, … 99)

A 3-digit console receiver can catch signals from 1000 remotes (count 000, 001, 002, … 099)

Remote Control Patient Calling Unit:

The handy remote controller has 3 buttons:

1. Top button: To make a CALL / Call a nurse or attendant
2. Center: Kept empty (optional customized sound like buzzer etc.)
3. Bottom: To CANCEL a call (patient has been attended)

Nurse Station Console Receiver:

• The display window of the receiver console unit 2-digits, 3-digits, 4-digits
• The calling remote controller number is displayed on the receiver console unit along with a pre-recorded voice message annunciation to alert the nurse / attendant / doctor
• The voice annunciation can be muted by the nurse (if needed)
• Once the patient has been attended, pressing the CANCEL button disengages the call from the console unit
• Multiple calling remote controllers can call the nurse station.  It would systematically rotate the display for the called numbers

• Bright big sized display, digits are visible from distance for even 50-60 meters

Door module:

• The door module unit is a receiver to a specific set of remotes (primarily in a room)
• It has light indications on 3 sides of the box (the box needs to be mounted on the wall, on the top of a door)
• Remotes in that particular room when press the CALL button will glow & blink the door indicator
• This is to indicate that one of the patients from the room is requesting nurse
