Split and Move Editors in VS Code

I just want to quickly Showcase a new feature that came with the November 2023 release, which is Floating Editor Windows.

That means we can now move editors out of the Main window by dropping them on an empty space on the desktop.

As we’re talking about visual stuff, I strongly suggest you check out this video for a showcase of this functionality:

One thing that I don’t like about this feature is that I cannot open another Terminal inside the new editor.

If I press CTRL + ` (backtick) it opens the Terminal in the main editor, not in the new one.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not or maybe there’s some trick that I’m not yet aware of, but if you know how to fix it, please let me know in the comments below.
