My first Unity game – Park me

What is this?

A few months ago I started to look into Unity, at first this was just a way to keep my self busy by also doing something fun. But I ended up creating a small 2D against the clock prototype game (My first Unity Project) that I want to share with the world. Maybe there is something in my project that could help somebody or maybe you can take my prototype and create something way better.

How do I get set up?

You can run/download my game from my itch page: https://horiacondrea.itch.io/parkme.

  1. Download
  2. Open in Unity
  3. Enjoy
  4. Share && Comment

You can also take a peek at the source Code if you want: https://github.com/horiacondrea/ParkMe.

Conclusion

I really started to enjoy develop small games in Unity, is quite a difference from my day to day job. I think I will continue prototyping 2d games, so if you want to be updated you can follow my itch.io page, where I will post experiments.

If you have any ideas, comments or remarks please let me know. I will be happy to answer or help you if I can. But remember this is my first unity game, be gentle, I just entered in the world of game development. I hope this will prove useful for somebody out there.

Also if you want me to explain the logic behind the code, I can also do that. Let me know if that will be useful for you.

Same time ago I posted another Unity related tutorial. You can check it out here: https://horiacondrea.com/unity-2d-arrow-physics/
