Windows 11 has just been revealed by Microsoft, and it boasts a substantial visual revamp and several new capabilities. Updated features include a new Start menu with softened corners, but also features include Snap Layouts for multitasking and the ability to open numerous apps side-by-side.

Microsoft Teams integration and an updated Windows Store are included in Windows 11. Furthermore, Windows 11 can run Android apps.

Gamers will enjoy the inclusion of Auto HDR and faster overall system performance on computers with Direct Storage compatibility. Both corporate users and creative users would like to undock and repeatedly dock and with no interruptions.

Release, Price and Beta

The much-anticipated Windows 11 will be released around the holiday season. Microsoft says that if you have a Windows 10 PC, you may have it as a free update, and new PCs will be stocked with Windows 11 shortly before the holidays as well.

You can use the PC Health Check programme available at Windows.com to see if your PC is portable for the free Windows 11 update. In some cases, Windows 11 will not be released until the end of the year.

The first build of the program upgrade for the Windows Insider Program will be out next week. Though it will be a comprehensive build with all the Windows 11 features, it will lack certain Windows 11 features.

Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, and docking

Snap Layouts are now available in Windows 11. You can choose the Snap Layout you wish to use to run numerous apps at the same time. For instance, you may arrange two apps side by side, three in columns, or four in a grid, giving you a total of six options.

If you ever get stuck after responding to a notification, Windows 11 features a new Snap Groups function in the taskbar. Thus, you can resume your previous activity before being required to respond to that communication.

The same is true for the new docking experience. When you unplug a monitor to move it, the windows that were on it will be minimised. When you return and reconnect to a dock, all of your Windows will reappear as they were before.

Refurbished Start menu

Microsoft has developed a fresh look for Windows 11 to be more appealing and pleasant. In addition to the taskbar, you will see a redesigned Start button located in the centre of the screen. Pushing it opens a quick overview of recent files, documents, and apps.

With the new Start menu, the apps list is less prominent and now contains two separate grids with various applications and some recommended papers. Users are more likely to visit the standard list of apps when given an “All Apps” button.

The primary objective is to reach where you want to go as quickly as possible. Windows 11 has softened corners on programme icons and a streamlined taskbar to give the operating System a contemporary look. New colours and transitions are also included, and the latest dark mode enhances the prominence of text.

New Windows Store and Android Apps

With Windows 11, the Microsoft Store is redesigned, and you can find your apps quicker and easier. That is all incredible, but the announcement that will attract the most fantastic notice is the availability of Android apps natively on Windows 11.

Microsoft says that you will browse and download Android apps through the Microsoft Store and the Amazon Appstore later this year. At this time, the procedure sounds a little complicated, but Microsoft has promised to release more details about the experience in the coming months.

Integration of Teams

While Windows 11 no longer contains conventional Microsoft programmes, Microsoft is trying to make teams much more popular through direct integration with Windows 11. • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0
• Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver
• Display: High definition (720p) collection that is greater than 9″ diagonally, 8 bits per colour channel
• Internet: Windows 11 Home edition needs internet connectivity and a Microsoft account to complete device setup.

While Windows 11 may not feel like a complete reimagining of Windows, it is a significant leap forward in productivity and entertainment.
