Hello everyone! Recently I wrote about making a simple web application with PHP. Later I began thinking about implementing useful one. Interested? Let's see how it turns out.

Why this?

Once I learned programming with the level enough to develop simple solutions, a wish to participate started holding me. The following things I was engaged in before getting hired in a software company are:

• Working on simple start-up project. Most of my work consisted of JavaScript coding and that was a great experience of direct participation in growing a project from scratch.
• Blogging. I am using a lot of knowledge shared by others in a web. Then - why not? It plays some role of making you an eloquent person when it comes to things like bringing your knowledge (or point of view) to others.

Then I began acquiring an experience during working in a company and thinking about launching the first own project.

Looking for an idea

Everything starts with it. I got one by feeling a lack of an "app for that", when it comes to gathering a rock band. I really love playing guitar and one day wanted to find a band in my town: and there wasn't an app for that. I didn't find a "brute-force" approach of asking every friend if he has something who need a guitarist efficient.

Then, what if I am not the only who bumps into this stuff?

Decision was to make nothing more but a simple problem solver:

• Main page: a map with location markers of musicians.
• About page: some words about what it the project itself.
• Other pages: controls for signing up and editing records.

Sounds easy to implement.

Development

This project is so simple and clear that its development order looked definitely like a one described in my recent article. Same approach and same tools, actually.
