Did you know that SlashDB’s story began with the story of me the founder getting laid off in the midst of financial crisis of 2008?
I was a software engineer for a proprietary trading desk in credit derivatives. We had a great team, lots of freedom in choosing the best technical stack for the job and a clearly defined purpose – to win against the Street. It all changed very quickly in the Fall of 2008.
