Getting started with PayPunch Hosting

Setting up Paypunch Web Hosting is Easy!

  1. Register an account with us at http://gethosting.paypunch.com/
    • You will need to enter:
      • Email Address
      • Company Name
      • PayPunch Web Login
    • Enter your information and send an activation link to your email
    • Check your email for the activation link, and follow the link provided.
    • Once activated, you will receive your PayPunch Web Login and Temporary Password
  2. Download and Install Windows Silverlight. You can find the download here.
    • You can check which browsers are compatible using this link.
  3. Log in to PayPunch Hosting. Go to http://hosting.paypunch.com/ and enter log in information.
    • To change your temporary password, go to Tools > User Management and edit your user.
  4. Create your Company Structure.
    • Click the Companies tab > Edit Companies > Add Company, and fill out the appropriate information.
    • Create Departments if necessary.
  5. Create your Employees.
    • Click the Employees tab > Edit Employees > Add Employee. Make sure that the ID you give your employees and the ID on your Biometric Clocks are the same! 
    • If you want your employee to be able to register via the Web Login, check the box Allow Web Login Registration.
    • If you want your employee to be able to view their time card, check the box Allow View Web Time Card.
  6. You can right click anywhere on the application and click Install PayPunch Web on this computer.
  7. In order to start using your Biometric Time Clock please email us at [email protected].

For an employee to register a time punch

  1. Go to hosting.paypunch.com
  2. Select Web Login
  3. Enter Employee ID, Password and Company name.
    • Enter Job code if applicable.
    • Company name is the same as the one you registered with in Step 1 of the set up
  4. Click Register

For an employee to view their time card

  1. Go to hosting.paypunch.com
  2. Select Web Login
  3. Enter Employee ID, Password and Company name.
    • Company name is the same as the one you registered with in Step 1 of the set up
  4. Select Start and End Dates and click View Time Card
