Shipping Payment Filters Breakdown
This extensions makes it easy for users to create geographic zones specific to your needs. Customers are assigned to zones depending on where they live. There are a myriad of ways to define each Zone. You can set such things as the minimum order, unit prices, special prices, tier prices, catalog prices, allowed vs default stores, currencies, payment methods and shipping methods.

Configuration
To navigate to the Zones section in the Admin panel:
Admin -> Configuration -> Zones -> Zones
On this page, you’ll find the different settings available for each zone
Options
In this section, you can enable or disable functions. This serves as the highest priority in the module.
Minimum Order Amount
In this section, you can simply set what the minimum order is per zone.
Zone Price
Here, you can set specific prices for specific zones such as compound prices, compound special prices, catalog prices and discount prices.
The next section is Currency:
As you can see, you can enable or disable the currency filter here as well as set the default currency.
Store
We have three settings in this section:
Store Filter
Simply enable or disable store filters
Default Store
Allow and set your default store
Default Redirect URL
This is needed when a user is blocked from a store
Payment
Here, we can see the Payment Method Filter, you can choose to enable or disable the payment methods filter. You also have the default payment method, where you can choose to set a default method.
The final configuration here is Shipping:
The two settings seen in the screenshot above are the shipping method filter and the Default Shipping Method. You simply enable or disable the shipping method filter. Additionally, you can allow a default shipping method for your store.
Next, we have our Zones section.
Simply navigate from Admin -> Zones -> Manage Zones
The screen will look like the above image.
In order to add and manage zones is straightforward. Click the “Add New Zone” button in the top right hand corner for additonal zones. Or, to edit an existing zone, select the “Edit” option next to the specific zone. The default zone is automatically created during the installation process. This store is needed if a visitor is blocked from other stores.
When creating a new zone, the following screen will appear:
The following fields are required:
Code: this code is an alternative to the identifier attribute
Name
Description
Priority: a priority zone comes into play when a customer has more than one matching zone. The highest priority zone will be the zone used.
Default Currency
Default Store
Default Payment Method
Default Shipping Method
Minimum Order Amount
Default Redirect URL: this URL is used if a store is blocked from a customer
Subzones
Any zone can have many subzones. Every subzone can have specific country or zip code.
You could also select the specific currencies, stores and shipping methods allowed for each zone.
*The shipping carrier must have been previously enabled in the Shipping Methods configuration section:
Navigate: Admin -> Configuration -> Sales -> Shipping Methods
Products
Above is a list of the allowed products for the Northern America zone.
Manage Products
Catalog -> Manage Products
Compound Price
The compound price overwrites the product price in each zone. When a user comes to the site and is assigned a store, the compound price will automatically take over.
*The compound special price is the product’s special price
Tier Price
This options allows you to create a tier price based on the zone.
Finally, products in each zone can be enabled or disabled.
Catalog Prices
Our zones have extensive functionality with catalog prices. You can enable or disable specific rules for each zone.
The compound discount amount is found in the Discount Amount section. It overwrites the discount amounts for every zone.
Customer Locater
This tool will determine the user’s IP. Once this is determined, the appropriate settings will be updated.
