My Very Own Minions

My interests aren't predictable. Ok, maybe some of them are... like Rattata being my favourite Pokemon. No, Raticate. No, Rattata. Can I pick both? Anyway, my favourite game isn't The Rats or Rat Maze. It's Screeps. A programmable MMO.

It's fantastic. I have little robot minions that I can automate. They attack other player's robots and everything. What more could a rat want?

I'm working on a super-cool strategy. At least: it will be super-cool when it's finished. It needs a lot of work, though. Have a look if you'd like: https://gitlab.com/lordratte/screeps-strats

At the moment, I'm having a bit of an issue with efficiency. However, I can totally feel for those little bots because It's easy to feel inefficient when you're in a cadge most of the day. At lest I have time to think about their efficiency.

For some reason when I allocate sites that creeps can stand on and collect energy, my CPU-usage spikes. Here's the code that's being executed:

With that I get spikes of up to 62 CPU-points with just one room. Maybe this is just because I was running on the public test realm.

I'll follow up on my solution to the problem.

Bacon over and out.
