Northside companies alerted for a commercial structure fire. Forks 9 enroute has heavy smoke showing. Rescue 9-1 on scene with has a 75×125 auto repair/chop shop with visible fire through roof. Attack crews deploy a handline to garage door already open while a deckgun is opened to the roof area. Command orders all crews out due to sagging and collapsing roof. Additional crews dispatched for defensive operations. 2nd FAST team also alerted. Crews battled for 6+ hrs to bring this under control. 2 FFs hurt and transported.
