Yesterday, the VP debated happened. I said they don't matter, but that was a bit un-civic of me, but we have a Trump meteor about to hit the Earth. I'm distracted. In one way, they do matter. At some point, 4 to 8 years from these guys are likely to run for President. You'll want to know what they said here. However, no rush. There's more than enough time to see it online.

The current consensus, including mine, is that Pence "won". But, just as I said before, you don't win the debate that night. You win when you see how it affected the race. In one way Trump did win,  but we knew that before it started. We will talk about it for a day or so, stopping Trumps current slide.

However, Trump is not likely to gain. The speculation is that Pence won, but maybe Trump didn't. Pence did not defend Trump against any of the attacks Kaine launched. This gives Clinton the opportunity to re-engage anything Trump ever did.

And, there's another factor.  Few watched this debate than the last 4 election, about 30 million. So, more may see Clinton's adds on the debate then the debate.

So, let's see over the next few day. However, my guess is we'll just go back to his taxes.

I usually avoid this kind of speculation, but something weird has been going on. First, I was listening to one of my podcast which was discussing Jeff Zucker, the president of CNN. Turns out that Trump and him have a long standing relationship, and the show suggested that Zucker may have given Trump more free and friendly media because of it.

Now, this show does have an agenda (unlike me of course), so I took the story with skepticism. But, over past few days, when I did my morning googles...

All CNN stories and all friendly to Trump. In one of the stories, the headline was misleading in a way favoring Trump. One of the stories was at least a day old, but google kept claiming it was only a few hours (a way an article could be pushed above newer stories).

Now I won't go into idiosyncrasies of how search engines work, but weird huh.
