It would be recalled that shortly after the 2015 general elections in Nigeria and subsequent swearing in of the President, Mohammadu Buhari and all elected Governors, including the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, a prophet of God; Emmanuel Paddy Ogon had risen to announce on the media that God had anointed the former deputy Governor, Mr. Nsima Ekere to take over governance of the state before 2019 elections.

Many who read the prophet’s prophesy may have thought it would come to fruition during the election petition tribunal rulings, since it came in the heat of the tribunal cases but the sitting Governor came out victorious at the end of the tribunals, the Appeal and finally the Supreme Court.

When contacted at that level, Prophet Ogon had said that the prophesy had nothing to do with the tribunals or physical electoral processes but would come to pass before 2019, insisting that; God had declared the end of Emmanuel Udom and Moses Ekpo’s tenure from the beginning.

“What God told me has nothing to do with physical manifestations in the political scene and it is yes and Amen. As I said before; I don’t know Nsima Ekere in person and he does not know me but God has anointed him to take up the Governorship mantle of the state before 2019″.

He explained further that Akwa Ibom State would have a different election time table from the rest of the states of the federation because Udom”s administration will not survive till 2019 election

Emmanuel Paddy Ogon is a native of Arakpang village in Mbube East community, Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River state, in a long chat with this reporter early 2016, had narrated how God had revealed to him in specific terms that Nsima Ekere is the next Governor and would take over the Hilltop mansion before 2019 and not Umana Okon Umana who was in the court against Emmanuel Udom.

The prophet who is not into partisan politics, neither does he know Nsima Ekere personally before he got transformed and called by God into the prophetic office recalled that he got born again on 25 August 2013 and was called of God the next day even as he has undergone several training from God and in the ministry, preparing him for the work of God.

Narrating how he got interested in the Governorship position of Akwa Ibom state, Ogon had said in March 2014, a pastor friend of his; (name withheld), who was convinced of his status as a child of God, had wanted to know the mind of God concerning the state and had asked him to seek the face of God for answers in that direction.

“He wrote names of about 20 aspirants then and brought to me. Out of the twenty names, I read each of them according to their positions on the list to God and asked him to speak to me through the numbers since he knows every name on the list.

“That was even when party primaries were still pending God spoke to me through a dream and gave me number three and number seven, which equals to ten. When I woke up I checked the list and number ten fail on Nsima Ekere. So I called my pastor friend and told him that Nsima Ekere is the Governor of Akwa Ibom state.

In the same October 2014, God said to me; Udom will give Nsima good fight but Nsima Ekere will be Governor.

On the 14th of January 2015, I slept and as a man still under training, I did not see God’s prophesy coming to pass and all political parties had their candidates emerged and non had Nsima Ekere as a candidate. I said father forgive me for my unbelief because my faith was shaky after going round to tell everybody that Nsima Ekere would be Governor.

On the morning of January 15, 2015, as I was lying on my bed, God’s word came to me again; saying that the race is not to the swift, the battle is not to the strong.

Elections came and gone. God has still been talking to me in specific terms about Nsima Ekere and the Governorship seat; some which I cannot disclose for now but I know from the revelation of God that Nsima Ekere is the one God has given the seat of Government in Akwa Ibom to in this dispensation.

Nsima Ekere will become Governor of Akwa Ibom state before 2019 before the present administration runs out, situation will arise which will necessitate conduct of election before 2019 in Akwa Ibom State. He is the Governor that the lord has given to Akwa Ibom state before 2019. He is the actual possessor of the divine mandate in this dispensation.

With the victory of PDP at the Supreme Court, which upheld the election of Udom Emmanuel as valid and retained him as the authentic Governor of the state, such prophesy was forgotten even as the smooth running of Governance in the state had since been in place; prophet Ogon has resurfaced with the same prophesy.

This time, Ogon says God has asked him to make it clear that Governor Udom will vacate office for Nsima Ekere before 2019 elections and not after 2019 elections, “Nsima Ekere does not need to pray or fast for this prophesy to manifest neither can prayers against it stop it; it is the will of God” he maintained and urged Nsima Ekere to prepare his acceptance speech as Governor of Akwa Ibom.

“These prophesy is also to the Church of God in Christ Jesus; so that they will know that God has raised a prophet for them”. Ogon hinted.
