Attorney General Loretta Lynch Smacking NC discriminatory GOP law down!

Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave a scathing critique of the North Carolina bathroom ban.  She discussed the discriminatory intent of the law and the impact it will have on the transgender community.  She stated the following, as quoted by WONKETTE below:

This is not the first time we have seen discriminatory responses to historic moments of progress in our nation. We saw it in the Jim Crow laws that followed the Emancipation Proclamation. We saw it in the fierce arguments against Brown vs. the Board Of Education and the fight against same-sex unions. […]
This is not a time to act out of fear. […] Let us instead learn from our history and avoid repeating the mistakes of our past. Let us reflect on the obvious but neglected lesson that state sanctioned discrimination never looks good and never works in hindsight. Attorney General Loretta Lynch So Excited About Kicking North Carolina In The Ass! | Wonkette

I agree with Loretta Lynch on her stance against this discriminatory law.  It is not based on some ascertainable problem, but based on #GOP maniacal fear of the unknown or anything that is different than them.  I do not understand the plight of the transgender community, I do not know a person who is transgender, but what I do know is that they are my fellow brothers and sisters in this thing we call the human race.  The GOP has always been a party of the crazy, conspiracy theorists, and paranoid, but to create a law that is overtly discriminatory based on some hypothetical situation, isn’t just quacky it is stupid.  I implore Ms. Lynch to continue to fight for equality of all people in this human race.
