We simulated Sevilla vs Arsenal to get a Champions League score prediction

[ WATCH TV LIVE ]

Arsenal return to Champions League action on Tuesday evening, with the Gunners taking on Sevilla in the third game of Group B.

After a convincing 4-0 win over PSV in their Champions League opener, Arsenal fell to a shock 2-1 defeat away to Lens in their last European outing, leaving the Gunners second in their group. Next up for Mikel Arteta's side is a trip to Spain, where last season's Europa League winners await.

Sevilla have had far from the perfect start to the season, sitting 13th in La Liga whilst also drawing both their opening Champions League games. Jurrien Timber is the only absentee for Arsenal, whilst Takehiro Tomiyasu could come into the starting XI after an impressive cameo against Chelsea on the weekend.

So, can Arsenal return to winning ways in the Champions League? Let's take a look.

We simulated Sevilla vs Arsenal to get a score prediction

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the hosts could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Nyland; Navas, Bade, Ramos, Acuna; Sow, Soumare; Lukebakio, Torres, Ocampos; En-Nesyri.

Arsenal's predicted XI vs Sevilla

We predict that the Gunners could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.

Sevilla thought they had opened the scoring in the fourth minute when Oliver Torres tapped in Sergio Ramos' flick-on from a corner at the back post, but the offside flag was raised, and the goal was ruled out. After the early scare, Arsenal took control, and they made it 1-0 in the 63rd minute through a substitute.

Leandro Trossard made it 1-0 to Arsenal

Leandro Trossard was introduced for Gabriel Martinelli on the hour, and just minutes after his introduction he found a goal. The Belgian cut inside onto his right before surging into the box, and a fantastic curled effort beat the 'keeper to put Arsenal ahead.
The goal seemed to knock Sevilla down a level, with the hosts less optimistic on the ball and allowing Arsenal extra comfort when in possession. The Gunners dominated possession as they patiently looked for a second, and Bukayo Saka got on the scoresheet with nine minutes to go to secure the three points.

Bukayo Saka made it 2-0 to Arsenal

Declan Rice spotted Saka's bursting run into the middle from the right with a fizzed-through ball, and after taking the ball in his stride, Saka curled his effort into the top corner from just outside the box to make it 2-0.

EA FC 24 predicted final score: Sevilla 0-2 Arsenal
