After the eventful Pala Casino 400, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series has arrived at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Fans have also been looking forward to another exciting race this Sunday (March 5th). Pennzoil 400 will air on FOX and PRN at 3:30 pm ET.
The third race of the 2023 NASCAR season will take place on a 2.5-mile intermediate asphalt track. 36 riders will drive over 267 laps for a chance to drive down Pobedny Lane.
Motorsport journalist Bob Pokrass shared the Pennzoil 400 starting lineup on his official Twitter account.
In Saturday’s qualifying races, reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano took his first pole of the season at 186.053 mph. It was the 27th pole of Logano’s career in the Cup Series. Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron will share the front row with Logano, completing the lap at 185.153 mph.
They will be followed by Ryan Blaney, Ty Gibbs and Kyle Busch in the top five.
Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski, Ross Chastain, Austin Sindrik and Christopher Bell rounded out the top ten.
Defending tournament champion Alex Bowman starts Sunday from 11th starting position.
