We, as the family of Shirley Elaine Gay, regret to announce the passing of our Mother. She was reunited with her husband in the early hours of Thursday, March 2, 2023. They dance in heaven to their favorite song. She was born March 15, 1934 in Sacramento, California. After moving to Springdale in 1967, they were in the plumbing trade all their lives. They traveled and had many adventures throughout the US (49 out of 50 states) and made several trips around the world. Her parents predate death; beloved husband Harold Gay; brother Ron Love; grandson of Anthony Dewberry; and sons-in-law Dennis Conner and John Hyatt. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Dewberry and husband Bill from Springdale, Susan Hyatt from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Donna Conner from Springdale; sister Belva Maderos of Locust Grove, Virginia and grandchildren, Michael Dewberry (Kelly) of Springdale, Brian Dewberry of Little Rock, Dr. David Dewberry (Alice) of Pennington, New Jersey, Dena Jansen (Mike) of Springdale , Regina Womack. (Jeff) from Miami, Oklahoma; Kevin Conner (Kim) from Osage City, Kansas; Derick Conner (Amy) from Springdale; 20 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She loved her family and was always glad to have a new addition. Burial will take place Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Sisko Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Visitation will begin before the service at 13:00 at the funeral home. Private interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Online condolences can be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
