Fayetteville Man Sentenced to Over 11 Years in Federal Prison for Drug Trafficking | USAO-WDAR

FAYETVILLE. Yesterday, a Fayetteville man was sentenced to 140 months in prison, followed by a three-year supervised release on one count of possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine. The Honorable Judge Timothy L. Brooks presided over the sentencing hearing in the United States District Court in Fayetteville.

On January 25, 2022, investigators from the 4th Judicial Narcotics Task Force were investigating, according to court documents. Richard Heath Brown, 46, for drug dealing. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Brown had methamphetamine in his possession and that he had a warrant for his arrest. With information about Brown’s car, the detectives were able to locate and arrest her. As a result of a search of the car, investigators found a black bag containing about 412 grams of the suspected methamphetamine.

The suspected methamphetamine was sent to the Department of Homeland Security forensic laboratory for further analysis.

This was announced by Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas David Clay Faulks.

The case was investigated by the 4th Judicial District Narcotics Task Force.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Sydney Butler handled the case.
