LiuGong North America to showcase company growth, battery electric vehicle technology and 8 new products at CONEXPO 2023

KATY, Texas, Feb. 22, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The construction industry has changed significantly since the last CONEXPO-CON/AGG in 2020, as has LiuGong’s presence in North America. As Liugong returns to this year’s CONEXPO show held March 14-18, 2023 in Las Vegas, it does so with an improved position in the construction equipment market and as one of the fastest growing companies in the industry.

LiuGong arrives at booth F9205 at the Festival Grounds in the Las Vegas Convention Center with 19 vehicles, including eight new products, two new battery electric vehicles, a significantly increased workforce and a robust and growing dealer network.

“LiuGong’s presence at CONEXPO/CON-AGG 2023 is the culmination of our growth strategy, new product development and investments made by members of our expanding dealer network,” said Andrew Ryan, president of Liugong North America.

“At CONEXPO, LiuGong will highlight the growth and development our team has been working on over the past few years, as well as show potential customers the value of our machines. The future for LiuGong is bright and we look forward to the coming week in Las Vegas.”

Business success 2021 and 2022

Over the past two years, LiuGong has set records for profit, revenue and growth. While other manufacturers were reducing production, LiuGong increased its production and inventory, making it the largest wheel loader manufacturer in the world.

LiuGong lineup at CONEXPO

The 19 products shown cover five product lines (wheel loaders, excavators, bulldozers, rollers and material handling machines) and include new technological elements in most machines.

The headliner of the LiuGong exposition is one of the battery electric vehicles – the 856H-E MAX wheel loader. The field is experiencing exponential growth, with some 2,000 such installations already operating worldwide in some of the most challenging environments. The 856H-E MAX can improve jobs where traditional internal combustion engines are not allowed, or stationary operations where investment in charging infrastructure makes sense.

LiuGong introduces two new large excavators. The 36 ton 936F class excavator is one step ahead of the medium-sized excavators, and the 95 ton 995F class excavator will be the largest excavator in LiuGong’s line of excavators.

Models 9051FZTS and 9057FZTS introduce two new Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) compact excavators for the first time. These 5- and 6-tonne excavators fill a gap in LiuGong’s lineup and are based on the 9027FZTS, which premiered in 2021.

The new 15 ton LiuGong 915FCR (compact radius) 915FCR class excavator, designed to meet the demands of demanding jobs in commercial and residential applications, is an addition to the 913FCR, giving customers the desired choice in this size class. Both are evolutions of the 915F platform, focusing on a short tailspan and a slight compromise in payload capacity.

Additional new products include the LiuGong 6612E roller and the Dressta TD-25M bulldozer.

LiuGong will also display HV series wheel loaders (838HV, 856HV, 890HV). The HV series products meet Stage V emission standards and include upgraded transmission and hydraulic systems.

Rounding out the lineup is another Dressta product, the TD-16N bulldozer, as well as five products from LiuGong’s fast-growing material handling business. This includes the LiuGong CLC2025A-SC, CLG2030G and CLG2035G forklift trucks, as well as the S1930DE and S4046DE Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP).

Several new dealers have recently been signed and have either been announced publicly or will be announced in the coming weeks. Others have expanded their operations by either adding locations or improving their footprints.

“Our new dealers in both the construction equipment and material handling industries were looking to increase their level of support and relationship with the new manufacturer,” Ryan said. “Our job is to help us, as LiuGong, work alongside these new dealers to elevate them in the market while continuing to recruit more staff in key markets across the country.”

Key relationships

LiuGong has been working with Cummins for decades, and since 2011 the companies have been involved in a joint venture to build engines in China. Cummins will display one of its engines at the LiuGong booth and the Cummins booth will be in Hall 4 South, Booth S84615.
