Two coats lay on a dry rack with food.

There is a large gap in the back door that needs to be repaired to prevent rodents from coming in for a bite to eat.

The seasonings were not labelled.

Salsa was stored in a tank on the floor.

And the food wasn’t cold enough.

The restaurant needed a re-check.

And this week’s clean plate award goes to Tuckeria Lupita a food truck that you can find just off Interstate 35 near Behrens Circle in Bellmead.

You cannot miss this colorful mobile restaurant.

Talk about a way to repurpose the bus.

You order tacos, canned flautas, or even Mexican hot dogs.

From the window to the conveniently placed picnic tables, you can sit and just enjoy.

The information used to create the weekly KWTX “Restaurant Report Card” segments is gathered directly from publicly available records of regular inspections conducted by county health officials in Central Texas. KWTX does not determine which locations are reviewed, nor does it assign overall scores, which are expressed as a percentage. Any questions regarding the status of an inspection, re-inspection, or reported assessment should be directed to the health departments of the individual counties in which these facilities are located.
