“Come and get me”: the fugitive who challenged the Waco police was detained

Waco, TexasKWTX)- The Waco Police Department is trusting clues it received via Crime Stoppers to capture 28-year-old Brandon Bonner, a fugitive wanted on a warrant for assault and domestic violence, days after Bonner shared a picture of himself on social media and told authorities: “You want me, come and get me (expletive).”

“As many of you know, we at Waco Police Department love a challenge,” the police wrote in a Facebook post. “Well, as you can see, he knew he was wanted and posted a message on social media asking to be found. We have done.”

Bonner was also wanted on a parole violation warrant.

Bonner was seen on January 23 as a passenger in a truck.

The police stopped the car and arrested the man.

He was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, police said.
