Wollaston is the Member of Parliament for the Totnes constituency. She joins a chorus of world leaders who are aghast at the cruelty of Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries and banning refugees.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also tweeted his support of refugees. He was also very critical of Trump’s actions.
To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada
