Hillary Clinton’s Popular Vote Lead hits one million and climbing, one week after she lost the presidential election in a shocking upset.
Um, so who has a mandate? The fact is, she was the clear choice for a majority of Americans.
David Wasserman at the Cook Political Report has been keeping tabs on the tally of presidential election vote counts here. As of his latest posting, Clinton has 62,273,687 votes while Donald Trump has 61,133,255. In other words, that’s a lead of 1,049,000 votes. That number is expected to grow.
It seems Clinton’s popular vote lead has left Trump scrambling to save face. He is about to make history as the first president beaten in the popular vote by a woman. He tweeted:
If the election were based on total popular vote I would have campaigned in N.Y. Florida and California and won even bigger and more easily

LMAO.
One thing is clear, it is time to get rid of the electoral college. The popular vote should determine the winner.
