Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, more commonly recognized as Davido, recently disclosed that he is not familiar with the winner of Big Brother Naija ‘Level-Up,’ Phyna.

This revelation followed a situation where Davido accidentally liked a post that criticized supporters of the reality star. The post, by an anonymous user, expressed confusion about the idolization of certain celebrities and went as far as referring to Phyna’s fans as unimportant.

Davido’s inadvertent like sparked various reactions, with some individuals concurring with the singer and others reproaching him for subtly expressing disapproval of Phyna.

In response to this, Phyna questioned Davido, wondering what she had done to warrant such negativity.

She also extended congratulations to Davido on the occasion of his twins and stated:
“Wetin I do @davido Na wah oh The hate is real… Congratulations on your twins sha”

Davido, in turn, reacted to Phyna’s tweet, acknowledging the congratulations and explaining that he didn’t mean to offend but genuinely didn’t know who she was, and his like on the post that criticized her fans was purely accidental.

He wrote: “Thank you love but I actually don’t know who you are .. and it was an honest mistake .. no vex”
