When Nigeria’s Super Eagles Face Saudi Arabia in the international friendly game slated for October, Fulham FC defender, Calvin Bassey might be missing.

His absence might be due to the injury he sustained in the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup game against Norwich City at the Craven Cottage.

Bassey was in action and he was able to marshall the backline of the host until he limped off the pitch towards the closing stage of the game.

The extent of the injury is yet to be determined but the player is expected to undergo a test on Thursday.

Super Eagles will face Saudi Arabia in the international friendly game in Portugal next month.

Meanwhile, another Super Eagles player Alex Iwobi was among the goalscorers in Fulham FC’s 2-1 win over Norwich City.
