Ugandan TikToker Yasin Majid, better known as Yash Popy is a fresh graduate in Film Acting.

Popy was awarded the diploma after he successfully completed studies at the Del-York Creative Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.

The hilarious entertainer excitedly shared the news over the weekend, revealing that he was able graduate despite starting the course a bit late.

“I went a week late but managed to at least catch up with the class. Though I missed some work, I managed to get a diploma certificate of ACTING IN FILM MOVIES,” he shared.

“Thanks to my family and everyone who supported me.”

Poppy traveled to Nigeria on July 11, to take up the acting course at the prestigious institute.

Majid said in an interview shortly before his departure that the entire course is being sponsored by leading Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage.

He said the management of the award-winning artist had reached out to him recently with the offer.

“They reached out to me and told me to do an online search for Del-York Creative Academy and to choose a course I want,” he said.

The young man gained popularity on TikTok for making comic videos in different characters which include him playing females, musicians, and many other characters. Having joined the platform back in 2018, he is now one of the biggest TikTokers in the country with nearly 1.2million followers.
