Jurgen Klopp has, on Saturday, claimed his latest in a long line of awards for his outstanding work during the 2019/20 campaign.
Liverpool dominate
Liverpool would, of course, dominate the English top-flight during this past season.
The Reds came agonisingly close to clinching their first-ever Premier League title in 2018/19, but missed out to Manchester City by a single point.
Liverpool would have no such issues this term, though, blowing City and all other potential challengers out of the water.
In fact, even after a fairly average end to the campaign, Liverpool still managed to garner 99 points in the Premier League.
Said total was, obviously, a club record for Liverpool and the 2nd highest points total in Premier League history – only bettered by Manchester City’s centurions in 2017/18.
Liverpool also equalled a number of Premier League records in 2019/20, including winning 18 successive matches, claiming 32 victories and amassing 55 points from a possible 57 at home.
Klopp clinches latest award
Such impressive displays have, understandably, led to a number of players at Liverpool finding themselves up for top awards.
Jordan Henderson, who captained Liverpool throughout their title-winning campaign, recently won the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year award and Liverpool’s Player of the Season award.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was also recently named the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season.

Liverpool also have three players on the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year six-man shortlist.
Now, as mentioned above, Jurgen Klopp is the latest Liverpool man to clinch an award after it was revealed the German has been named the Premier League Manager of the Season.
Klopp winning shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given he had already won a record-breaking five Manager of the Month awards this past season.
Congratulations to Jürgen Klopp
