“Well, the Governor’s leading. And Scott Walker’s not just being a leader for the State of Wisconsin, but he’s being a leader for this entire country. I believe we’re in a battle for freedom in this country, and that same battle for freedom is taking place in Madison. We are a country, and we have a state in Wisconsin that’s about to walk off a fiscal cliff, and if we don’t get serious about spending, debts and deficits in this country, and in Madison, we’re not going to have a America we’ll be happy to pass on to our kids and grandkids …  It’s a permanent solution to a particular problem, which is out of control spending, out of control benefits and packages, collective bargaining agreements that don’t work anymore at the local level, at the school board level, and with the state budget. So, Scott Walker promised these specific solutions to these problems when he ran for Governor … Greta, not only did he say these things during the campaign, but he specifically talked about the exact percentages and the cuts and what he was going to be asking these state employees to provide if he became Governor. He ran on that platform, and now he’s delivering on it, and he’s doing so responsibly. We need to get serious about spending in Madison, and in this country. Scott Walker’s doing it.”
