President Trump reportedly told fellow members of the exclusive Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL, “you all just got a lot richer” Saturday night.  President Trump was referencing the comprehensive tax reform package that was passed by Congress earlier this week and was signed into law by the President.  The President signed the bill into law before leaving for what many have described as the “Winter White House” – Donald Trump’s Florida estate.

President Trump was directing those comments to friends who were sitting at a nearby table.  Initiation fees at the Mar-a-Lago club cost $200,000 and annual dues cost $14,000.  Some of the most affluent members of society are members.  The White House responded to requests for comment by reiterating the benefit of the new tax legislation to the middle class.
