Problem of landless squatters will be resolved soon : Chair Prachanda

Chitwan, Nov 22 : Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the government was serious for seeking appropriate solution to the unsystematic settlement and the Landless squatters’ problems. 

Addressing the inauguration function of a newly constructed ward office of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-24 and declaration of environment-friendly ward today, Chairperson Dahal said policy-level discussion was underway to resolve problem of landless squatters and it would be resolved soon.

On the occasion, he said, “The incumbent government will fulfill the dream of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’.”

The CPN Chair further said that study of detailed project report regarding the construction of embankments along the Rapti and Narayani rivers as well as the ring road would be carried out in this fiscal year.

He said, “I am more concerned about the development of Chitwan as I have won the election from Chitwan. There is no alternative to involve in development and prosperity of Chitwan and the entire country.”

Saying a cricket ground of international standard and city-hall would be constructed soon, Chairman Dahal said work related to Madi-Thori and Kerung roads would also be forwarded.

Similarly, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal said that other wards of Bharatpur Metropolitan City would also be declared as environment-friendly ward gradually, saying they were active to make Bharatpur Metropolitan City a model metropolis. (RSS)
