Nigerians at home and in diaspora has register their displeasure over the Extension of the Eid-el Fitri holiday by the Federal Government.

Chief Olu Falae was a former Secretary to the Government of the federation said there are economic implications of such actions,if the total Output of the year will now be 365days minus the output of one additional holidays,so therefore there will be a reduction in national income.

The extension has enormous Impact on the economy and other aspects of our national life says Barrister Marcus Imoudu.

There are numerous negative impact associated with this holiday extension,like important appointment would have been cancelled,court cases will be rescheduled,crucial financial transaction would have been postponed,there for the country is further subject to Avoidable wast and its unnecessary and avoidable.
