Oruk Anam Local Government Indigenes call out Udom for marginalisation
The people of Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state have come out to condemn the insensitive marginalisation carried out on them from a government led by their in-law Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
The leaders of Oruk Anam communities have complained that since the inception of Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel’s government, they cannot point out any outstanding project undertaken in their LGA despite his relationship with them as a son in law. The youths have expressed their sore disappointment in the government towards the development of their Local government which is still very rural.
This has resulted in a massive decision by the people to vote for Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019. Speaking to our correspondent, a relative to Governor Udom’s wife said “The people of Oruk Anam have vowed to dissociate themselves with a disappointing in-law who has treated them shamefully. We will support Obong Nsima Ekere on the 9th of March, 2019.
