The vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo arrives Uyo today to a massive crowd. The hugely popular pastor dropped in to support the APC aspirant, Nsima Ekere, former DG of NDDC. He was met at the airport by Senator Godswill Akpabio and other prominent politicians from Akwa Ibom State.
Akwa Ibom has become the focal point for the national APC, as it is a former PDP state that has now mostly switched to APC in the sentiments of the people. Over the last year, most of the important politicians of the state have left the PDP and have joined the APC, including the highly popular former governor – Godswill Akpabio.
It is expected that the Saturday election in Akwa Ibom State will go to the APC, with Obong Nsima Ekere turning out to be the winner.
