I can understand why, since there’s no chance that film will ever happen… This is what Perlman had to say in a recent interview for Screen Rant:
Pressed for why, Perlman said, “Because he’s Busy, and I’m busy. Maybe one day he’s going to call and say, ‘Hey, let’s do it.’ But for right now? We’re happy discovering new worlds to conquer.”
One day, yeah. When Perlman is in his seventies? He is 66 now, after all. I would have loved to see the conclusion to the trilogy, but it’s just not going to happen. That’s Hollywood.
