Lovecraft stuff, week 6, 2017

Only two announcements from Fantasy Flight this week (unless I missed something): The Investigators of Arkham Horror is now available at retailers, and here’s a preview of The Miskatonic Museum for Arkham Horror: The Card Game.

Dark Regions Press is selling Cthulhu Mythos paperback and deluxe bundles at a discounted price.

Tales From the Miskatonic University Library is available to order from PS Publishing.

Coming soon from Wizkids: The Dungeons & Dragons Mind Flayer Trophy Plaque, for around $400 or so (via Purple Pawn).

Eric M. Lang is working on an expansion for Bloodborne: The Card Game.

Pocket Gamer takes a look at Rise of the Elders, which is currently on Kickstarter.

Also on Kickstarter: Arkham Ritual, which is “a deduction, bluffing, and press your luck type card game about escaping from a horrific ritual worshiping the Great Old One.” Casual Game Revolution takes a look at that here.

And another thing on Kickstarter: The 7th Edition Guide to Cthulhu Invictus:

Take your Call of Cthulhu game back in time to the Age of the Antonines, The Golden Age of Imperial Rome. Battle sinister cults, unspeakable horrors, and alien gods across the Roman Empire, from the misty shores of Britannia to the bustling markets of the Arabia, deep in the forests of Germania and across the stacks of the Library of Alexandria, from the Pyramids to the Parthenon, from the Colosseum to Hadrian’s Wall, from the trading ports of North Africa to the coast of the Black Sea. Adventure, glory, death, and madness await.

Wccftech has an interview with a producer at Cyanide Studios about the upcoming Call of Cthulhu video game. Also, Gamereactor talks to narrative designer Maximilien Lutz. And there’s been a bunch of other articles out about the game this week, here’s IGN and Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Games Night has started on a series of Call of Cthulhu RPG adventures, the first episode is here.

At the Dice Tower, Chubby Meeple reviews Cthulhu: A Deck Building Game. BoardGameGeekTV plays Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu, and, finally, Shut Up & Sit Down reviews Arkham Horror: The Card Game.
