Lovecraft stuff, week 5, 2017

First, some announcements from Fantasy Flight Games: here, here, and here (I can’t access the FFG site right now, for whatever reason, so I only have the links I saved earlier last week).

Engadget: Sunless Skies, the sequel to Sunless Sea, is doing well on Kickstarter (link here).

DarkMarkets.com: Pickman’s Gallery, a new Lovecraftian anthology, is open to submissions.

TV Line: The final ten episodes of Teen Wolf on MTV will be inspired by Lovecraft, according to an interview with executive producer Jeff Davis:

“It’s something new, but also old,” he explains. “Scott and his supernatural friends become pariahs once again. They’re feared and hunted. It’s very much a season of fear. Our inspiration was H.P. Lovecraft, so you’re going to be seeing a lot of dark horror in the next season. We have some really disgusting Stuff coming up.”

This show was always surprisingly good (especially considering that it’s on MTV), and now it looks like it’ll go out on a high note.

F. Paul Wilson will be the Author Guest of Honor for this year’s H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival & CthulhuCon.

Nick Meenachan takes a look at The Dreamlands expansion for Eldritch Horror, here.

Rise of the Elders: Cthulhu is a tactical RPG for mobile and PC, inspired by the works of Lovecraft, and it’s on Kickstarter right now.

Another thing on Kickstarter is Necroboomicon. This is the first expansion for Two Rooms and a Boom, which is a social deduction party game that came out a few years back.

The Cthulhu Monster Pack for King of Tokyo and King of New York will be available in North America on February 16 (if you want it cheaper online, you’ll have to wait until March 2).
