In this present evil age, people respond to trials in various ways based on their respective worldview. In short, we can summarize the different responses into two camps: It's God's Grace versus the law of the jungle; a race to the bottom versus the survival of the fittest. So, what about you? What is your mindset when you suffer hardship? Are you "strong-arming" your way through your current trial, or are you relying on "the mighty hand of God" to pull you through? 

And based on your history of going through trials, how do you respond when the heat is on and the fire grows higher? How do you typically react when you're under attack?

Note: As a believer in Christ, you are a part of God's little flock (1 Pet. 5:2-3; cf. Lk. 12:32; Acts 20:29). That means you are not an apex predator; you are the prey. And without venom, claws, or sharp teeth, what then is your only means of defense against the wild beasts that seek to devour you and the rest of God's children?
