The Birmingham channel: RIP George Floyd

George Floyd died May 25 after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on Floyd’s neck for nearly 9 minutes, sparking Black Lives Matter protests nationwide. Let's talk about how to have an effective protest. We need to identify the injustice, we have to understand what we're negotiating for, we must have the discipline to remain steady and draw attention to our cause, then and only then can we take direct action. Let's follow the lead of the giants who paved the way for us. Let's be better.
