Trump’s Creepy Loyalty Pledge

Last week at a campaign Rally Donald Trump asked his supporters to raise their right hands and pledge their support for him. They complied and the reaction from pundits and critics was what you would expect. It was mostly compared to Hitler and the Nazi salute. That’s what our side would say if this happened at a Democrat rally. I doubt Trump was invoking Hitler, but after the criticism and the creepy optics of it you would think he wouldn’t have done it again. But he did, and it was just as creepy as the first time.

“I think we’re going to do great here,” Trump said minutes into his rally in Concord, N.C., after reading off a series of Favorable Polling Figures and vowing to win support in the state ahead of its March 15 primary.
