Motorola and Nokia Unveil VoIP Mobile Phones

At the 3GSM World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain, Motorola and Nokia revealed VoIP feature in mobile phones. Motorola and Nokia are the two largest handset manufacturers in the world. The phones will come with cheap Internet calling inside, also known as VoIP, and it will work anywhere outside.

Nokia’s Executive VP Kai Oistamo said: “Then you walk out of the door and the call is seamlessly handed off to the cellular network. There are no dropped calls – it’s like moving from one cell to another in cellular network today.”
To make cheap calls from the public hotspot, office, or from home, the new phones will connect to the Internet via WiFi. WiFi is being used over Bluetooth technology because it is a lot cheaper. The new hardware of Nokia 6136 and the Motorola A910 is a growing demand. Neither of the two phones requires you to change phone numbers.
