Most video players allow you to take a screenshot of the current movie playing. Players like WinDVD and PowerDVD provide built-in Screen capture functionality.
- To make a copy of the active window, press ALT+PRINT SCREEN.
- To copy the entire screen as it appears on your monitor, press PRINT SCREEN.
However, most DVD players will provide you with a black or green screen if you try to capture the screen. Look at the image below which shows the background movie playing in PowerDVD but has a black screen. It also shows the configuration menu so you can enable the screen capture function. PowerDVD is a great DVD Player with a built-in screen capture function.
