A formal and urgant inquiry will be conducted by the Police over the Stolen valuable medal received by the Late Film Maker Dr.Lester James Pieris with the Golden Peacock award which he had won at the International film festival held in 1965 at New Delhi,India according to the Minister of Law and Order Ranjith Madduma Bandara.
