K Kavitha Sent To Jail For 14 Days Regarding Delhi Liquor Case.

Telangana Chief Minister Daughter K Kavitha Was Sent To Jail For 14 Days In Tihar Jail.

The daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Ms. Kavitha, has been charged by the ED with being a major player in the “South Group,” which is suspected of having given the (AAM) AAM AADMI PARTY a bribe of ₹ 100 crore. Leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, K Kavitha, was jailed till April 9 by a Delhi court on Tuesday. Ms. Kavitha was already in the agency’s custody; this was extended once last week so she could be presented with data taken from her mobile phone. She was detained by the Enforcement Directorate on March 15 in connection with the purported liquor policy fraud that has rocked the city’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party.

But in an unexpected move today, the ED merely requested a 15-day judicial custody, which means Ms. Kavitha would probably no longer be detained at the agency’s lock-up but instead be sent to Delhi’s Tihar Jail. Her accusers had either joined the governing Bharatiya Janata Party or given money to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party (Rs 50 crore via the contentious and now-scrapped electoral bonds), she claimed, adding that the case against her “is not money laundering but political laundering.”

“The case is made up and untrue. Three accused people have joined the BJP, one is receiving a BJP ticket, and the third provided electoral bonds for ₹ 50 crore. This is a case of political laundering, and we will be cleared. The daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Ms. Kavitha, has been charged by the ED with being a major player in the “South Group,” which is said to have given the AAP a bribe of ₹ 100 crore in exchange for liquor licenses under the now-cancelled Delhi government policy.

She Said That Is Not Money Laundering But It Is Political Laundering Case To Not Join In BJP.

Ms. Kavitha had also petitioned the Supreme Court after her detention from Hyderabad, which transpired in dramatic circumstances including an altercation between her brother, former Telangana minister KT Rama Rao, and a group of ED agents. But her appeal was quickly rejected. Kavitha emphasized that her accusers had either joined or contributed to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, saying that the case against her was “not money laundering, but political laundering. The case is made up and untrue. A BJP ticket is being obtained by the second accused, who has joined the party, and Rs 500 million in electoral bonds were given by the third accused. This is political blackmail, and we will not be found out.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate’s remand request filed with the court claims that the BRS leader is “actually involved in the transfer of proceeds of crime of Rs 1 billion… It AAP leaders received payment.”Kavitha “has not given true and complete disclosure and has not cooperated with the investigation,” the agency added. Kavitha has requested temporary bail due to her little son’s upcoming examinations.
