Imran Khan arrested after being found guilty in the Toshakhan case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested

A District and Sessions Court on Saturday convicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhan case and sentenced him to three years in prison.

Justice Dilawar rejected Khan's petition seeking inadmissibility of the case and sentenced the former prime minister to three years in prison.

"The charge of misdeclaration of assets has been proved against the PTI chairman," Additional and Sessions Court Judge Humayun Dilawar said in his judgment.

He then handed Khan three years in jail along with a fine of Rs 100,000 while issuing an arrest warrant.
