KCR and BJP-Kharge have a covert understanding

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BRS party and KCR at a public meeting in Chevella. He stated that without the support of the Congress party and Sonia Gandhi’s decision, Telangana would not have become a separate state. Kharge also mentioned that KCR had promised to support the Congress after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh but did not fulfill his promise. He accused KCR of secretly aligning with BJP despite claiming to be a secular person.

Kharge highlighted the upcoming meeting in Khammam, where Amit Shah would be speaking, and mentioned that he was providing points about Congress’s achievements since Independence. These include programs like the green revolution, white revolution, major irrigation policies, and industrial policies.

During the meeting, the party released a 12-point declaration focused on SC and ST communities. TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy read aloud the points, which included 18 percent reservation for Scheduled Castes, assertive action towards SC classification, 12 percent reservation for Scheduled Tribes, financial assistance to SCs and STs, reservation in government contracts, reservations in private schools and companies, land allocation for the landless, financial assistance for housing construction, proprietary rights for assigned lands given to SCs, proprietary rights for Podu lands given to STs, development budget for Tribal thandas, and separate corporations for Mala, Madiga, and other sub-castes with designated budgets. This declaration holds significance as it comes ahead of the Telangana Assembly elections.
