Gunmen kidnap Delta community youth leader, Lucky Esu

Gunmen have reportedly abducted Mr. Lucky Esu a youth leader in Okere Community, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State as the crisis rocking the youth body rages.

Sources from the family said he was abducted at gunpoint from his home in Idimi Jakpa, Okere Community at about 12am on Wednesday night, DAILY POST can report.

It was not clear if Eus’s abduction has any links with the Okere Community’s youth crisis.

The gunmen have not established any contact with the family of the victim as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe following an inquiry by DAILY POST, in a terse text message claimed Esu was arrested and not kidnapped.

He said, “Arrested not Kidnapped”

He, however, did not disclose who arrested the victim and reason for the midnight arrest.
