Blogger's New User Interface Sucks (Updated)

The old Blogger user interface (draft.blogger.com) was functional. Quirky, but functional, and it allowed for easy creation and editing of websites. But Blogger's owner Google has decided to screw it up.

Update, July 13: I am still using Blogger's legacy user interface. Despite telling us that the New Blogger interface would be replaced on July 1, it's still available and upon login Blogger still urges me to try the New Blogger.

The new interface will replace the legacy UI tomorrow, July 1st. Many of its functions don't work consistently, I have found, and some don't work at all. I'm not writing a tech post here, so I won't go into detail. However, Making A Mark blog already has a good list of things wrong with Blogger's new interface.

If you have already tried the "New Blogger" (it's been optional), you know what I'm talking about. I captured three examples of people complaining to Google about it. (See them below.)

Those of you who have not yet experienced it are in for an unpleasant surprise. Apparently, Google and Blogger have never heard the expression, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
