Talking about Delhi: Union Minister Anupriya's tone is different from BJP

New Delhi: While the BJP is taking a swipe at the caste-based census and Modi himself is attacking the opposition including the Congress on this issue, Modi government minister Anupriya Patel has taken a different tone. Anupriya of Apna Dal (Sonelal) has not only favored caste-based census but has also announced to raise the issue in Parliament.

Behind Anupriya's announcement is the aggressive stance adopted by the Samajwadi Party and Congress on the issue of caste-based census. The objective behind the caste-based census is to capture the Obc Vote Bank. The main constituency of Anupriya's party is the OBC vote bank. Anupriya has raised this issue as she fears that the entire OBC vote bank will shift towards her due to SP's aggressive stance.

Anupriya believes that since the BJP is fixated on its savarna vote bank, it does not care in UP, but the smaller parties will suffer.

Pilot supporters upset over not being present at CEC

Pilot's supporters are upset after Sachin Pilot was not present at the Central Election Committee meeting called by the Congress to decide the tickets in Rajasthan. Supporters of Pilot say that it is insulting not to keep Pilot present in the process of deciding the candidates of Rajasthan.

Supporters claim that Pilot is not a member of the Central Election Committee but is a big head in the Rajasthan Congress, so it was necessary to take him into confidence by being present. There has been no statement from Pilot but it is clear that his supporters are raising the issue on his behalf.

Sources in the Congress say that the Pilot supporters are creating an unnecessary controversy. Sachin Pilot was present in the state core committee meeting the previous day. Considering that the panel of candidates for each seat was decided after discussions in his presence, there is no question of not taking the pilot into confidence.

Prahar Sarma's light mindedness in the name of Supriya

Assam Chief Minister Himmat Biswa Sarma's comments about Supriya Sule are being criticized. Sarma has commented that Sharad Pawar will send his daughter Supriya to fight for Hamas in the Gaza Strip. People are criticizing Sarma's political statement as weak-minded as he launched a personal attack on the issue.

Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal slammed Sharad Pawar for criticizing the government's stance on Israel and Hamas. Both of them emphasized that the country should show a single attitude to the world on the issue of terrorism but did not make any personal comments about Pawar. Sarma has come down on personal attacks without prudence.

Shivraj's new venture, All Women Offices

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is fighting for his political survival in Madhya Pradesh, has focused on the vote bank of women voters to win back. On the one hand, Shivraj will deposit cash in women's accounts on November 10, while on the other hand, he has fielded his wife Sadhana Singh to attract women. Shivraj has fielded Sadhana and started opening BJP offices only for women. Sadhana is inaugurating these all-women BJP offices by going round and round.

Sadhana Singh is appealing to the people that if women want to save their dignity, they have to defeat the Congress. I know that women have some grievances, but sir, once you become chief minister again, all your demands will be satisfactorily resolved.

Political analysts are calling Shivraj Singh's strategy of women-only offices interesting. In the conservative atmosphere in Madhya Pradesh, women are not very active in politics, and they feel that Shivraj's bet can pay off for the BJP.

Congress cut the cards of 25 percent MLAs

In Chhattisgarh, the Congress has announced the names of 83 candidates, more than 25 percent of the current MLAs, i.e. 18 MLAs have cut their cards and surrendered. In 2018, the Congress swept away the BJP by winning 68 of the 90 seats in the Legislative Assembly. Congress has given a chance to new faces by not giving tickets to 18 of these 68 MLAs.

Usually Congress does not cut MLAs who won in the last elections but this time Congress has adopted a new strategy. Congress announced the list of first 30 candidates, 8 and 10 sitting MLAs in the list of 53 candidates were not given tickets. Seeing that the BJP has already announced candidates for 86 seats, there is no option for the disgruntled MLAs to stand as independents. Sources of the Congress say that even in the remaining seven seats, the Congress will give a chance to new faces only.

BJP in Jharkhand again with the help of Arjun Munda

With the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubardas being made the Governor of Odisha, it has become clear that the BJP will fight the upcoming assembly elections under the leadership of a new leader. Assembly elections will be held in Jharkhand in November next year. Along with Das, Telangana's Indrasen Reddy has also been made the Governor of Tripura.

BJP sources say that by making Das the governor and sending him out of Jharkhand, the high command has cleared the way for Arjun Munda. Munda, the tribal affairs minister in the Modi government, has been the chief minister of Jharkhand three times before.

In the 2014 assembly elections, BJP made non-tribal leader Das as the chief minister, leaving Arjun Munda vacant. The tribals resented the fact that slaves coming from urban areas were handed over to them instead of the tribal belt. As the tribal voters turned to Hemant Soren, the BJP lost in 2019, so the high command again had to surrender to the tribal leader Munda.

Love Jihad in Garba? : Aadhaar-checking in Ujjain

Ujjain's garba organizers Sankalp Sankarshi Sanstha are checking Aadhaar cards of visitors to prevent non-Hindus from attending garba events to prevent cases of love jihad. Also, it has been made mandatory for male athletes to perform Tilak on their foreheads before entering the Garba Mandap. As this Garba-Ujwani is a private event, the authorities have no objection to the enforcement of the above provisions.

Overconfidence will trouble the BJP in UP

BJP's overconfidence in Uttar Pradesh is becoming detrimental. Party supporters are obliviously immersed in social media, while the opposition is working doubly hard. Senior party members are confused. Their morale has decreased. Some zealous officials are taking a swipe at the BJP's allies. Nishad party president Sanjay Nishad has expressed grief over this. BJP leaders are inciting criminal cases to be this low. Senior BJP members feel that some over-excited party representatives are working for immediate gains even though the party has drawn official limit-lines which has aggravated the situation. At present some ministers and politicians are involved in Ramlila preparations.

Donations to Palestinians by Nobel laureates

Nobel laureate Malala Yousu Fazai has donated two and a half crore rupees to three charities working for war-torn Palestine. He said that Tuesday's bombardment of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza has horrified me, which I unequivocally condemn. I urge Israel to allow humanitarian aid to Gaza and appeal for a ceasefire, Malala added in the video message.

Congress reacts to election Gandhi remarks

Congress leader Manikrao Thackeray, in response to BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) legislative council member K Kavita's comment that 'Rahul Gandhi is Election Gandhi', said that the words of the poem show that his party is afraid of the Congress. The Gandhi family including Sonia Gandhi has played an important role in the formation of Telangana. People do not believe in poetry. His name is involved in the liquor scam. Telangana people have realized that BRS only makes false promises, said Thackeray.

Object to Rahul's pet dog's name Noori

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has gifted a dog named Noori to his mother Sonia Gandhi. On being informed by the press, AIMIM leader Mohammad Farhan said on this issue that the word Noori is associated with Islam. It is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. Hence, we have approached the Judicial Magistrate's Court of Prayagraj on Monday with the demand of registering a prima facie case against Rahul Gandhi.
