Talk of Delhi: Pathak became a 'servant' by imitating Modi

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak has sparked a debate by writing 'Servant' before his name in his social media profile. There are criticisms that Pathak is imitating Narendra Modi. In response to SP president Akhilesh Yadav calling Pathak a servant of Yogi Adityanath and calling him a servant deputy chief minister, Pathak called himself a 'servant' and said that it is a good thing to be a servant of the people. After Rahul Gandhi said Chowkidar Chor Hai in reference to Modi, Modi wrote Chowkidar in front of his name.

On the issue of Akhilesh entering the Jaiprakash Narayan International Center by jumping the gate, Pathak quipped that Akhilesh has proved that the SP likes anarchy and hooliganism. Akhilesh should go to the Asian Games and win a medal for India given that he is good at jumping. Akhilesh retorted that in UP, except the Chief Minister, everyone is a servant, so we do not answer to the Servant Deputy Chief Minister.

Due to this there were speculations that BJD will join NDA.

The Congress says that the BJD is playing drama as there are both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections next year. Internally, BJD-BJP is the same.
