Worship the divine power by lighting the lamp of Navratri in the heart!

- So the planter of goodness and spirit will not be found!

- Chand poonam ka bhaya hi badalon ne dhak dia, ek tara hai bahut manzil dikhane ke liye.

Navli Navratri days are coming. In these days of Shakti Upasana, the devotee's heart will pray, 'Mother, we have become powerless, we have become impoverished by suffering unlimited sufferings, Mother, give me strength, give me strength. Demonic power can be overcome only if you give power.'

Worship of Shakti has been glorified since Vedic times. Arjuna himself had to do Shankara's sadhana and go all the way to heaven to fight with evil.

The fruition of Durga Puja in Navratri is that with its good worship, a human being attains all the four purusharthas of Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Garba and Garbi, a well-known form of folk dance, are sung by putting a lamp in a Garbhdeep i.e. a pot with a hole in Gujarat to get such light. In the middle, the Gabbar-Mountain is dug and garba, lamp and idol of mother are placed on it and garba is sung and garbi is sung only by men. This garba and garbi have become the hallmark of Gujarat worldwide.

There are nine Durgas worshiped in Gujarat. If we take a look at Shaiva Agamas, they include Neelkanthi, Kshemankari, Harsiddhi, Rudransha Durga, Vanadurga, Agnidurga, Jayadurga, Vidyavasini Durga and Ripumari Durga.

Each of these Durga gives different fruits to her worshippers. Neelkanthi Durga bestows wealth and happiness, Kshemankari Durga bestows health, Harsiddha bestows desired fruit, Jayadurga bestows success and Ripumari Durga slays enemies.

While the Varahapurana shows the worship of nine forms of Durga, which is practiced elsewhere in the country than Bengali. These nine forms include Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Krishmanda, Kandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri. Among all these, the form of Mahishasurmardini Durga is very famous. Temples of Durga also adorn the peaks of the mountain. Let us imbibe the spirit behind Navadurga which is worshiped in Navratri.

This refers to the time when Kalima was spread over the three peoples. Affection, respect, goodwill and courtesy had all but disappeared. Friendship and Humanity 52 Cruelty and benevolence ruled the kingdom. Mahishasur was the ruler of the kingdom! Taking away the rights of others, he lived proudly in the pleasure of his lordship. He used to run the work of all the gods. This asura dominated the three worlds. Indra, Agni, Surya, Chandra, Pawan and Yama created their Khandiyas. His Tejalakshmi was taken. The devas without asmita were poor and wandered in a very ordinary condition on the errands.

The energy has gone from the sun. The man passed out of the fire. Gone from the wind. The moon is gone from the moon. The water flowed from Varuna and Yama's lap became like a dilapidated fisherman's net. Indra's thunderbolt was quenched by the stick.

Mahisasura became the doer and harta of all three creations. Asuras began to wield demonic power. All kinds of torture started. Everyone was afraid that the plantations of goodness and spirit would be deserted, they did not find the divine part anywhere! Directions remained 2. The sky turned black with crying voices. Goddess Tattva began to tremble because of Hanvani, but who will destroy the ruler of demonic power?

Approached the Devas-Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Narrated everything about how Mahisasura had destroyed the creation created by God. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, the three Mahadevs, released the holy wrath. Divine power was born out of that terrible righteous outburst.

This was the fruit of the intelligence of the three gods. When Mahashakti turned one year old, the Devas worshiped in Ambar form. When he was two years old, Sahu prayed to Saraswati. She became famous as Chandrika at seven, Durga at nine, Gauri at ten, Mahalakshmi at thirteen and Lalita at sixteen.

All the devas emanated this divine power with the power of their respective weapons. Lord Shiva gave the trident. Lord Vishnu gave the wheel. Vayu gave the bow and Varuna the conch. Indra gave Vajra, Kubera gave staff, Brahma gave garlands and Kamandals. The shield and sword were gifted by Mahakala. Vishwakarma gave the axe. Kaje gave the lion to Himwana to grow up. Mahashakti assumed various weapons and various ornaments.

The humans of Prithvi Loka suggested that we are also energy-accumulated by sowing jawar and dispersing it in water. We will dedicate it to Janakalyan when you say. After this, the goddess consoled the three people. Assured that I am Mahashakti incarnated from Parashakti. I have many names and many forms. There are two forms of power. Quiet and fierce. I kill the Asuras fiercely.

Mahashakti walked towards Vindhyachal. Mahishasura lived here. Apsaras and kinnaris were singing. Mahishasura's servants Chand and Mund resigned. He rushed to give the good news to his king.

As soon as Mahishasura heard the name of Sundari, he felt a desire to get her. Sent a request to become a companion through Dundubhi. Where to meet a husband like this Trilokapati? Sundari answered Mahishasura's demand. He said, 'My name is Katyayani. I know that you have conquered the three worlds and made the devas a footstool. But I am of a different mood, our culture is just as strange. The one who marries should win me by making war with us, gaining victory.'

Mahishasura was very fond of war. He loved to play with balls. The redness of flowing blood thrilled his mind. A fierce battle took place between the supreme divine power and the semi-demonic power. As the arrow missed, Mahashakti wielded the sword. Along with the sword, other weapons were also used. Mahashakti was sitting on a lion. The lion roamed the battlefield and struck down the Asuras.

The whole ground was covered with the bodies of dead asuras. Mahashakti played the damru and the veena and made joyful sounds. Mahishasura was yet to be killed. He fell on the field with his martial arts and zeal. Strategy and elusiveness began to play out. The earth shook. The sky started thundering. The ocean kept rising.

Mahashakti tried to bind him with Varuna's side. Asuraraj escaped by assuming a subtle form. Indra's thunderbolt struck Mahishasura. Mahishasura assumed the form of Havana. The thunder failed. Finally Mahashakti came in original form. Relinquished dependence. Arms removed. Jumped down from the lion. Caught the asura by the hand, kicked him to the ground. Mahishasura fainted and fell down.

Mahashakti took the head by pulling the kharg. At this time a favorable wind started blowing. Directions became clear as a mirror. The rain made the land smooth. Mahashakti played that war from Aso Sud Ekam to Dasham. Accordingly, Navratri, the festival of the victory of divine power, became popular since then.

The battle between Sur and Asura continues to play out in the world. Mahishasura keeps trying to establish his empire in the human heart. At this time the divine power has to destroy it with all its might.

The Markandeya Purana says, 'When the vindictive and the cruel tend to attack the sattvic, the generous and the peaceful, Shakti Devi takes incarnation repeatedly and promises, 'O devotee, I will be ever ready to protect you. As soon as you take refuge in me from the unique spirit in times of crisis, I will manifest myself. I will relieve you of pain. So that I may always be pleased with you, worship me with Ghat Pooja, Homhavan etc. rituals for nine days from every Ashwin Shukla Pratipada. I will always be ready for the welfare of anyone who seeks my mercy in times of crisis with unswerving devotion to me.'

Let's worship the divine power on Navratri days with an unbroken lamp in the heart.
