Recently two of India's top Business conglomerates, one being Vedanta and the other Godrej Group, are in talks of a split. Abroad too, there have been rumblings of break-up of many well-known business groups. Some foreign business houses are also known in India. Some shop details are included here. Social network giant Facebook is being used at home. Even Facebook was run as a Partnership company at its inception. Social media network Facebook was initially run by Zuckerberg and Solarin in partnership. Zuckerberg worked in the office all day while Solarin did not pay much attention to business. Finally, when Khatrag started, part of the shares were removed from the company. Severin's stake was reduced to 34 percent and his name was removed as co-founder of the company. In the end, Saverin took legal action against Zuckerberg and got the five percent stake back.

The Citigroup partnership broke up in 1999 after Dimon left the company of Jamie Dimon and Sandy Wiley. As the show went on, everyone assumed that Sandy would leave and be replaced by Damon. But finally Damon said I was moved by Sandy. Sandy said Dimon wanted to be CEO, but Sandy wasn't ready to retire.

Rockefeller and Andrews Company were well known. It was started in 1859. John D. Rockefeller started it in partnership with his neighbor Clark. Baman started the work by depositing $2,000. The company was able to profit more by having some freedom. It became controversial when it lost its partnership with the L.A. Dodgers, a company that played baseball league games. As Frank McCourt and Jamie McCourt's marriage broke up, it affected their business partnership.

After 30 years of marriage, these two got separated. Mamalo then went to court over who owned the company. The company was shut down amid many accusations. Everyone is familiar with the name Rupert Murdoch of News Corporation. Murdoch and Richardley had a partnership. The partnership fell apart after the project was stalled by Chinese government restrictions after Hong Kong-based Star TV Network bought it for $1 billion.
